Tangy Mushroom Masala

Mushroom bits cooked in a tangy tomato-onion mild-spicy gravy with peas.

 

 

 

PrepTime 2mins – Serves 2 – CookTime 10mins

Ingredients:
1 cup chopped mushrooms
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup tomato paste
2 chopped garlic cloves
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 small onion – chopped
1 small green chili – chopped
salt to taste
1/2 tsp turmeric pwd
1/2 tsp garam masala or any basic curry pwd
1/2 cup frozen peas
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp olive oil

Cooking Instructions:

Heat oil & butter. Fry the onions to pink and add the spices, chili & garlic. Fry for a minute & add the tomato paste & salt. Fry well for 2 minutes & then add the mushroom, tomatoes & peas. Add a little water & cover. Cook for 5 minutes & serve hot with rotis or rice.
