Italian Beef Stroganoff

A traditional Italian meal of beef & noodles topped with a “Delisimmo” Stroganoff sauce.. This recipe is quick n easy… worth a try!




PrepTime 10mins – Serves 4 – CookTime 35mins



800g boneless beef chunk
1 sliced onion3 tbsp butter
1/4 cup sour cream
2 cups beef stock
2 tsp Dijon mustard sauce
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1/3 cup coarsely chopped pickles of your choice
1 tbsp EVOO (Extra-virgin Olive Oil)
salt to taste
pepper to taste
500g extra-wide egg noodles (Try No-Yolk brand) – cooked.
Chopped fresh parsley

Cooking Instructions


Slice the beef into 2″ long 1/2″ wide thin slices & season with salt & pepper – set aside.
Heat 2 tbsp butter in a pan & cook the flour in it for 1 min.
Add the beef stock & simmer till thick – stir lightly from time to time.
Add the mustard & sour cream & continue to thicken for 2 mins.
Season with salt & pepper & take off the heat.
In another pan, heat 1 tbso EVOO & 1 tbsp butter.
Fry the onions till brown & then add the meat – fry well, tossing from time to time, until the meat is cooked.
Add the pickles & stir well.
Place the cooked drained noodles on a serving plate, pour the meat over it, top off with the Stroganoff sauce & garnish with parsley. Serve with thick slices of any bread of your choice.
