Seekh Kebab

Made some Seekh Kebabs for dinner tonight & used my special secret recipe to get the most soft, light, juicy & flavorful kebabs ever! Try this & you’ll never make them hard, heavy, dry or bland again!

PrepTime 5mins – Serves 4 – CookTime 20mins

300g lean minced beef
1 onion – finely chopped
2 eggs – beaten
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 tsp chili pwd
1/2 tsp pepper pwd
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp cumin pwd
Juice of 2 limes
salt to taste
1 tbsp vinegar
4-5 cloves garlic – crushed
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
2 tbso butter/ ghee
oil spray can
Cooking Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degs F.
Combine all the ingredients, except the oil, eggs & bread crumbs – mix well & leave to marinade.
Spray oil onto your grilling  wrack (place a foiled tray below for fat drippings).
Add the eggs & crumbs into the meat & mix unevenly (Do not overmix. You should see small chunks of crumbs & small patches of egg here & there).
Shape into firm oblong kebabs & skewer them.
Place skewers on the grill wrack & place this in the centre of the oven. Grill for 15 mins.
Squeeze more lime if you like & broil at 300 degs F on the top shelf for 5 mins.
Serve with a sauce of your choice, hummus, etc.
Or make sandwiches with lettuce, tomato slices, feta or lebneh, pickles, etc.. like I did (picture shown)
