Super Breakfast


(I call this the ‘SUPER’ breakfast because that what it REALLY IS to me.. Its rich in nutrients, vitamins & anti-oxidants, has the right fat-protein-carb ratio, is easy & quick to make and above all, is SO healthy & good for you.)
PrepTime 10mins – Serves 2.





4-5 eggs

1/2 tsp cinnamon pwd

1 big banana

2 tbsp flax seed pwd

a handful of mixed nuts

2 tbsp dried cranberries

2 tbsp almond butter

2 cups milk (I use almond milk)

3/4 tsp ginger pwd

8 ripe strawberries

A handful of blueberries

A handful of blackberries


Cooking Instructions:

  1. Grind & blend all the ingredients to a coarse paste.
  2. Cook it on a medium flame for 5 minutes, stirring every 10-15mins.
  3. Allow to come to room temperature & top with the berries.

Hint: For kids, I’d add 4 tbsp oats as well – this will keep them full & focused for a good 3-4 hours in the morning.
