Make a Homemade Hair-conditioner

We all know how conditioners give increased manageability, softness, luster & vitality to your hair after every wash. Here’s how you can make ur own chemical-free ones at home.
Hair conditioning is extremely imp to protect your hair, make it soft & shiny and prevent splits, dryness & hairfall. It adds that extra bounce & makes it OH-SO manageable & easy to style. Try these homemade recipes for conditioners:

Saffron Conditioner:
Boil a pinch of saffron strands in a glass of water & cool . Add the juice of 1 lime & a tbsp of honey. Rub this into the scalp & hair strands & leave it on for 15 mins. Rinse with cool or room-temp water (NOT hot water) & enjoy the golden sheen.

Avocado Conditioner:
Blend a ripe avocado along with 2 egg yolks & apply evenly throughout your hair & scalp. Leave for 5 minutes & rinse with a mixture of lime juice & vinegar.

Amla-Shikakai-Ritha (Indian) Conditioner:
Powder a handful each of dried shikakai, amla and ritha & soak them in water overnight. Make sure its pasty & not too thin. Next day, sieve it & use it to wash your hair – this not only acts as a conditioner, it promotes hair growth & cures dandruff.

Dark-hair Conditioner:
To shine black hair, use tea water or light coffee. You can also use the juice of half a lemon or a tbsp of white vinegar in a mug or 2 of water, as a final rinse. To give your hair a reddish tinge, boil the peels of a red onion along with the peels of a beetroot in a cup of water. Mix in 2tbsp each of honey & vinegar – Apply to washed hair & rinse lightly.

Home-made deep conditioner:
For this, you will need:
- 4 teaspoon almonds, sesame or avocado
- 2 teaspoon coconut oil
- 3 teaspoons honey
- 1 teaspoon cider vinegar
Heat the ingds except vinegar & honey, 2gthr in a saucepan & then cool. Stir in the honey & vinegar & massage this onto shampooed hair, comb through the strands and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse well with luke-warm water.

BEER conditioner:
Apply a can of beer to washed hairĀ  – wash after 5 minutes to reveal a bright shine & healthy glow!

Never rinse your hair after shampooing or conditioning with hot water – At this stage, your hair strands are soft, elastic & vulnerable – they can split & break easily when they’re hot (same like when you heat plastic). Use alternate mugs of warm & cool water to regulate blood circulation throughout the scalp – to rejuvenate your hair, strengthen the roots, prevet hair fall & shine your hair. Let your last mug be cool water to which a large cap or 2 small caps of dettol have been added – this clears the scalp of any infections that may cause dandruff or cause hairfall & itchiness. Immediately drench a towel in warm water & wrap your hair in it for 10-15 mins. Notice the shine, bounce, clean-feel, health & growth of your hair after you’ve done this consistently for a month – washing 3 times a week.

Shine On!!!
