A unique & interesting way to consume healthy and nutritious Oats which help lower cholesterol & being rich in fiber, even help regulate digestion.








3tbsp Oats

1cup/bowl of water

2tbsp plain or garlic &/or onion flavored tomato paste (NOT ketchup)

1/4 tsp each of salt, turmeric pwd, pepper pwd & dried parsley

sugar & paprika/ red-chilly pwd to taste

fresh chopped coriander &/or parsley leaves to garnish with.





Cooking instructions:

1. Cook the oats in the water for about 3 minutes.

2. Simmer and add the tomato paste, salt, pepper, turmeric and parsley.

3. Cook for 1 minute & then take off the flame.

4. Throw in a pinch of paprika/ red-chilly pwd to spice it up a notch, along with 1/4 tsp sugar to give it that extra zing.

5. Garnish with coriander &/or parsley and serve with croutons or khubz (Arabic bread) or pita bread.
